Well no trip to Vegas is complete without a visit to the Grand Canyon.
On another typically hot day we flew out to this spot in a helicopter.
It is a very interesting flight out to here and you essentially follow the Colorado River out to land at the bottom.
There is not much room but we were allowed to wander around as far as we wanted safely.
The river is down in height as the whole of the western half of the USA has been in drought for sometime and the snow when it melts will flow this way.
Sadly this hasn’t happened for a few years now or enough to keep things going.
From a geological standpoint, you can tell how it progressed over millions of years with the lines that you can see.
I was lucky also that some high cloud cover came in so I could get this shot as it evens out the light nicely.
I have been totally overwhelmed by the response to the calendars and have actually now sold out!
I am truly humbled and grateful for your support and yes there will be a 2017 Calendar.
Anyway, enough from me, enjoy.
