Hi All,

Firstly Happy New Year to all of you.

My wife wife received an invitation to shoot the music festival in Gosford again and as it is a long day we decided to stay overnight.

The only place to stay was at the Crowne Plaza in Terrigal which just happens to be very close to this spot.

Terrigal was first settled in 1826 and is Aboriginal for “Place of Little Birds”, well all I saw were the seagulls that are in their thousands around here.

The Skillion is a promontory and is the local landmark in the area and virtually right in the CBD of Terrigal and can be seen for quite a distance around the area.

To get to this spot required a bit of rock scrambling but was not too strenuous.

There wasn’t much happening swell wise either and the sunrise was just average but the exposure was just long enough to give something of interest.

I wouldn’t mind exploring this area a bit more if I get the time.

Anyway, enough from me, enjoy!
