Hi All,

Well another shot from our morning out in Narrow Neck.

We had noticed this tree on the way out, so we put it in the memory bank for on the way back as the fog was actually quite thick when we were going oout on the ridge.

So it was on the way back that we stopped to get this tree that appears not to be burnt like the rest of them. I am not sure when the last fire was in the area but they are usually devastating as it is all bush out there and very little to stop it.

The idea of the shot was to highlight the tree and hopefully have the fog still there but not too thick so you could at least see something!

You may have noticed that the shot is almost square. The reason for this is that there was another rather spindly tree off to the right and it was just annoyingly sticking into the shot, so I cropped the image to what I wanted.

Narrow Neck is very popular and it is always a bit hair raising when driving in or out as the road isn’t all that wide, so in spots you just hope that nothing is coming the other way. Well this happened to us but luckily the other driver backed up a bit and allowed us to pass.

So after getting back to civilisation, it was breakfast time and then the long drive home.

Anyway, enough from me………enjoy!

Paul
